April 20, 2024

Rep. Val Hoyle votes to send Israel more than $26B in aid, including more than $13B in weapons to use in its assault on Palestinians. To this day, she has not recognized the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

April 27, 2024

Jill Stein and members of her campaign team are arrested at George Washington University in St. Louis while protesting the genocide in Gaza.

April 29, 2024

Students at the University of Oregon begin encampment protest on campus. The encampment would last 25 days.

April 2024

Justin Filip, along with other concerned faculty and staff, forms the UO Faculty and Staff for Justice in Palestine in an effort to support and protect the student protesters and advance the cause of Palestinian liberation.

May 21, 2024

Justin Filip is placed on administrative leave and later terminated by UO after attempting to initiate a "no donations until divestment" pressure campaign. Justin went on to challenge Val Hoyle for Congress to try to stop the flow of arms to Israel that were being used to murder Palestinians.
